First EPC Contract in Colombia

TECNA, together with Sadeven Colombia, will be taking part in the design, construction and erection of three new natural gas compression stations for TGI (Transportadora de Gas Internacional).

The La Jagua del Pilar, Curumaní and San Alberto compression stations will be part of the Ballenas Gas Pipeline transportation system, which is necessary for increasing the Ballena - Barrancabermeja Gas Pipeline capacity from 190 to 260 MMSCFD. 14,200 HP equipment will be installed in each compression station, what represents a total of 42,600 HP power. This contract award is key for TECNA since developing an EPC Project in Colombia is a great challenge. Station Location: La Jagua del Pilar The station will be located in the Globo Marquesote area belonging to the La Jagua del Pilar Municipality, Guajira Department, on the road from La Paz to Villanueva, kilometer 10, in a 500-meter detour towards the west of the road opposite the scraper trap of the Ballena - Barrancabermeja Gas Pipeline on the 160 kilometer marker. Curumaní The station will be located in the Guaymaral area belonging to the Curumaní Municipality, Cesar Department, 5 kilometers from the main road opposite the scraper trap of the Ballena - Barrancabermeja Gas Pipeline on the 320 kilometer marker. San Alberto The San Alberto compression station will be built in the La Llana area belonging to the San Alberto Municipality, Cesar Department, 17 kilometers to the right of the road from San Alberto to La Lizama, where the bridge over the San Alberto River, approximately on the 498 kilometer marker of the gas pipeline, is located.
