Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up

With special emphasis on the Plants designed by TECNA, but applicable to any industrial facilities, systems enabling the conduct of construction final activities and start-up, in a safe and controlled manner, have been developed.

Pre-commissioning is the facility's check and verification activities that ensures that what has been built is in accordance with the approved engineering. We work on the Systems in which a Plant is divided in a de-energized condition.

What follows is Commissioning, which includes verification and tests with the systems in an energized condition, both from an electric and fluid pressure point of view leading the plant to a Ready-For-Start-Up condition.

The Start-Up is the culmination of a project, where all design, safety and operation aspects must converge for the purpose of achieving the initial start, the adjustment of operation parameters and the Plant final test run.
