Project Management
TECNA also renders Project Management Services (PMS) as another specialty based on the diversity and expertise of its professionals.
Under a PMS mode our professionals become part of our Clients’ operative structure, contributing our strengths to the success of the Project.
PMI, Management Globalization
The main processes carried out by TECNA are developed on the guidelines outlined by the Project Management Institute (PMI), U.S.A.
This management system allows the optimization of a Project from its first phases, precisely where the decisions meant to identify and generate the required value are made. While continuance with this methodology during the remaining life of the Project ensures that the value results identified at the beginning are realized.
Based on this thinking, at TECNA, we have developed several Management Procedures and Guidelines, with constant training for our human resources.
Control Switch Boards
The switch board is a tracking and communication tool of a Project's main indicators.
Indicators related to Financial matters and to the Compliance with Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Quality and Safety Objectives are identified.
Moreover, critical events that may affect the normal development of the Project are controlled, highlighting the actions being implemented to mitigate their adverse effect.
These Boards are issued on a monthly basis, so as to be able to track the main variables for Project management.
Flow Charts
Flow charts are also vital to summarize a process in which different areas of the Company, the Client, and/or the Contractors take part.
This tool acquires great value when identifying, summarizing and allowing the immediate visualization of the operative relationships between the Project's different participants.
The flow charts frequently applied at TECNA during the development of a Project are as follows: Communications, Engineering Documentation Management, Change Handling, and Administrative or Operational Approvals Flow Charts, among others.
